I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis and Data Management from TU Dortmund in 2021. Afterwards, I earned a Master of Science in Data Science at TU Dortmund, graduating in 2024. My master's thesis, supervised by Prof. Dr. Markus Pauly and Prof. Dr. Sarah Friedrich-Welz, concentrated on the estimation of heterogeneous treatment effects in competing risks survival settings. For my work on this thesis, I was honored to receive the Bernd Streitberg Award 2025 from the German Region of the International Biometric Society (IBS-DR).
Currently, I am pursuing my PhD at the Department of Statistics at TU Dortmund, supported by RC Trust and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Alexander Marx and Prof. Dr. Markus Pauly. My research is centered on causal discovery methods as well as causal inference with applications in the biomedical domain. Additionally, I am interested in statistical learning, deep learning, and fair AI.
