The RC Trust Internship Program 2026 offers exactly that opportunity. Designed for early-career researchers from around the world, the program invites motivated Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD students, postdocs, and professionals to join cutting-edge research in trustworthy and robust AI. Research topics span computer science, statistics, IT security, and psychology – all united by one central question: How can we make AI systems worthy of trust?

Interns work closely with experienced researchers in small, collaborative teams. They are encouraged to contribute their own ideas, grow their academic skills, and develop professionally in an environment that values openness, mentorship, and interdisciplinary exchange. Many participants describe the experience as a turning point – a chance to focus on research, expand their network, and gain clarity about their future in science.

Importantly, the program removes financial barriers: living expenses, housing, and travel costs are fully covered, allowing participants to concentrate on what matters most – their research.
