Markus Pauly was Program Committee member and co-organiser of seven sessions. One of them was the session "Innovations in nonparametric Testing and Random Forest Methods". Chair of this session was Alexander Marx.
Marlies Hafer presented the poster titled "Regression-based Estimation of Causal Effects under Selection Bias and Confounding", for which the preprint is available.
Daniel Klippert received the IBS Bernd-Streitberg-Preis for his Master's thesis titled "An Analysis of Causal Inference Methods for Competing Risks" that he conducted in the lab of Markus Pauly.
Michel Lang gave a one day tutorial 'Introduction to Machine Learning with R and mlr3' together with Bernd Bischl (Munich) and Marvin Wright (Bremen).
