We cordially invite you to the joint event on February 18, 2025 from 12.30 to 16.30 at the Technical University of Dortmund.
In addition to basic digital humanities skills, the Dortmund sub-project is particularly concerned with the question of where the responsibilities lie when algorithms make automated decisions. In a keynote speech, Elisa Harlan from the SWR Data Lab will give us insights into the work in the field of Algorithmic Accountability Reporting. Afterwards, we will have time to discuss the current status of the project and the implementation of Digital Humanities in the various degree programs. We therefore particularly welcome lecturers who are interested in these topics, regardless of their project affiliation!
The event will take place in the Rudolph-Chaudoire-Pavillon at TU Dortmund University's South Campus (Baroper Straße 297, H-Bahn stop: Campus Süd).
