On 17 and 18 Sep a workshop on "Causal Inference in Time- to-Event Analysis" took place!

What?

A workshop on "Causal Inference in Time- to-Event Analysis" was held in Dortmund from 17 to 18 September, adfressing a hot topic in medical statistics. The program included presentations from four invited speakers (Ruth Keogh, Vanessa Didelez, Pål Christie Ryalen, Thomas Alexander Gerds), as well as ten additional speakers. It brought together participants from five European countries - from industry, universities and other research institutes!

Who?

The event was initiated by the International Biometric Society (IBS)-working group "Statistics of Stochastic Processes", represented by Prof. Dr. Dennis Dobler (TU Dortmund University and Rc Trust!) and jan Feifel (Merck Healthcare KGaA), with support from Prof. Dobler`s research group "Mathematical Data Sceince with Applications in Medicine (Ulrike Guba, Simon Meck and Erik Weber). It was also funded by the German Region of the IBS, the Department of Statistics (TU Dortmund University) and us - Research Center Trustworthy Data Science and Security (UA Ruhr)!
